Refrigeration Technician

Location: Tucson
Department: Operations

Position Summary: Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc. is Arizona’s leading supplier of commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment, design and installation company. We are seeking a Refrigeration Installer to construct, wire, and install refrigeration for walk-in coolers and freezers. Troubleshooting and repair skills are also required. Other Installation Technician job duties include installation of ice machines and other commercial restaurant equipment.

Competencies:

  • Occasional evening, weekend and on call work hours
  • Travel to job sites throughout Arizona and other states

Required Skills:

  • EPA certification
  • Valid AZ Driver License in good standing and ability to be covered by Company insurance carrier
  • Ability to lift at least 100 lbs and work on ladders
  • Knowledge and understanding of installing commercial equipment
  • 2 years construction experience.
  • Plumbing and electrical experience preferred.

Sales Manager

Location: Phoenix
Department: Sales

Position Summary: Manage several distinct sales teams including street sales, chemical sales, retail and internet sales, special projects, cooperative contract sales, and government sales to help Arizona Restaurant Supply meet goals for customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue growth.

Essential Functions

  • Achieve growth, sales and profit targets by successfully managing the sales teams across ARS family of companies.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence in the market.
  • Develop and manage recruiting, objective-setting, coaching, training, and performance of sales representatives to build and sustain a reliable, high-functioning team.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Continued partnering with cooperative purchasing entities to expand opportunities for growth and to ensure contract renewals.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts regularly to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and new competition that may lead to risks and opportunities for the organization.
  • Liaise across departments (accounting, fulfillment, etc.) to ensure efficient support of sales team to meet customer needs.
  • Identify and execute marketing strategies to include print, digital, trade shows and conferences to increase customer awareness and sales.

Competencies:

  • Extensive experience in restaurant equipment sales.
  • Managerial skills and effective team-building strategies.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle from lead to ongoing relationship-building.
  • Effective communication – via phone, email, and in person.
  • Ability to learn new programs and train others in their use.

Required Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail. Direct sales and sales management experience. Knowledge of the restaurant equipment sales market.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
